Now a double Munster Championship winning Captain, Broadford's Eoghan Gunning had a tremendous battle with Tipperary's Cormac Fitzpatrick last night. Gunning spoke brilliantly when accepting the J. J. Kenneally Perpetual Memorial Cup from Munster GAA Council Chairman, Tim Murphy - paying tribute to a fabulous Tipperary side who more than played their part in an outstanding game. Gunning also had many words of praise at the podium for his team-mates, and in particular the leadership and courage of Ronan Kilroy who lost his mother Meave in recent weeks. We caught up with Eoghan after the final whistle at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
