The Clare minor hurling management have announced their side to face Dublin in Saturday’s Electric Ireland GAA Minor Hurling Championship Preliminary All-Ireland Quarter Final.
It has been a championship of mixed fortunes for the Banner men and manager Ger O'Connell and his management team haven’t been afraid to alter the side throughout the campaign in search of Clare’s best balance.
For Saturday’s showdown, Corofin’s Darragh Moran has been selected to partner Oran Duignan at midfield, while Ballyea’s Tom O’Dea is named in attack on the edge of the square. Elsewhere, the Banner will look to the form of St. Joseph’s Doora-Barefield pairing Ben Talty and Colm Daly to bolster their hopes, while Broadford’s James O’Donnell is another equipped with big-day experience.
It’s make-or-break for both counties, with a place in the All-Ireland Quarter Finals up for grabs.
Best of luck to the Banner!
Saturday’s game throws in at 1pm in FBD Semple Stadium and forms part of a double-header with Cork GAA v Wexford GAA at 3pm.
