Four goals were the difference, three of them coming in the opening quarter , as 2025 Senior Champions Éire Óg dismissed the determined test of Broadford in the final round of Group 1. Broadford bravely kept in touch, narrowing the gap to just three points at the midway point through Niall O'Farrell, Paddy Donnellan, and Michael Vaughan's sharp shooting. But 'the Townies were ruthless in front of goal - brothers Marco and Luca Cleary each finding the net in the opening minutes. Before Shane O'Donnell grabbed a ball 50 yards out, ending his solo run with a low shot to the net. Any hopes of a Broadford comeback were dashed when O'Donnell was impeded again shortly after the interval, allowing Danny Russell to step forward and send home the subsequent penalty. Contrasting fortunes for the two sides, Éire Óg now march on to the county quarter-finals where they meet Wolfe Tones na Sionna while Broadford's season plays out after a third place finish.
