The August Banner Bonanza Draw took place tonight in the magnificent surroundings of the Michael Cusack Heritage Centre in Carron, with three lucky winners selected on the spinning wheel.

The €5,000 cash jackpot went to one fortunate winner, while second prize is a fantastic sporting experience – two tickets to Katie Taylor’s World Title showdown with Flora Pili. The third prize winner will enjoy a day to remember, bringing a friend to join the great and good of world golf at the Trump International Golf Links in Doonbeg for the 2026 Amgen Irish Open.

Michael Cusack Heritage Centre Manager Tim Madden and Donal Ó hAiniféin Cathaorlach joined us for the draw, with Tim also taking the opportunity to remind everyone about Cusack Day, celebrating Michael Cusack’s birthday on Sunday, September 20th. The centre in Carron will host a wonderful day of culture, entertainment, music and family fun – and best of all, it’s completely free to attend.
